Dave Nyga is best player in STL who is not in the HOF. Dave player 25 plus years at the highest level of softball. He was an outstanding player at the A major level. Dave had it all. A mix of high average unbelievable power and tremendous defensive skills. Dave won numerous MVP all formative selections. I played with and against Dave for 20 years and he is by far a top 10 perc player ever to play slowpitch softball. My brother Dave Meyer said that Dave Nyga quietly is one of the best players in the bistate. Dave played for all the top managers including Dave Davies Tom Blasse Garnett Bebermeyer Tony Massud Tubby and Frank Webb. That sports acumen speaks for itself.
