In the 80s and 90s, the Budweiser Softball Team managed by A. Nassif, garnered accolades on an annual basis. There were 15 City Industrial Championships, 11 USSSA State Industrial Championships, 5 City Open Championships, one 2nd place National finish and a 3rd place finish, to highlight numerous National Tournament appearances. Wherever they played, crowds seemed to assemble. Whether to view outstanding defensive contributions at shortstop or the dazzling hands of the pitcher. Fleet footed outfielders and strong throwing arms were all trademarks of their defensive prowess. Animalistic home run power was duly notable throughout the offensive sides of the team. Couple those attributes with the desire to win at all costs, made them a respected opponent.
